Neo4j is a native graph database that stores, manages, and queries highly connected data using nodes and relationships instead of traditional tables.
Neo4j's primary brand was strong, but its 20+ sub-brands felt inconsistent and didn't sit comfortably within the larger brand. Even a single campaign could look like three different companies depending on the channel.
Neo4j is a graph database, so the brand's own graph nature became the connective tissue. Nodes, connecting lines, circles, and a shared blue base gave every sub-brand room for its own personality while still reading as part of the same family.
As one of a 3-person design team, I designed and maintained hundreds of print and digital assets, including 20+ sub-brand identities: events like GraphConnect and NODES, programs like Graph Academy and Aura, product launches, and the Community badges.
I built an asset-organization system across Figma and Google Drive that kept hundreds of design files consistent and easy to find for the whole team.
Beyond the design work, I brought structure: a shared way to build, organize, and find assets, so a small team could keep up with a growing company without drifting off brand.
